StyleDesk AI, LLC
Cookie Policy
Effective: April 15, 2026 · Last updated: April 18, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how StyleDesk AI, LLC (“StyleDesk AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website located at www.styledesk.ai and our subscriber dashboard (collectively, the “Platform”).
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy. By continuing to use the Platform without adjusting your cookie settings, you consent to our use of cookies as described in this Policy. Where applicable law requires prior consent for non-essential cookies, we will request such consent through our cookie consent banner.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, tablet, smartphone, or other device when you visit a website or access an online application. They are widely used to make websites and platforms function more efficiently and to provide reporting information.
Cookies set by the website operator are called “first-party cookies.” Cookies set by parties other than the operator are called “third-party cookies.”
In addition to cookies, we may use other similar tracking technologies:
- Web beacons (pixel tags, clear GIFs): Small transparent images that allow us to track whether a page has been viewed;
- Local storage objects: Data stored locally in your browser that persists beyond a single session;
- Session storage: Similar to local storage but cleared when the browser tab is closed;
- JavaScript tags and tracking pixels: Code embedded in the Platform that reports usage events to our analytics providers.
For ease of reference, this Cookie Policy uses the term “cookies” to refer collectively to all of the above technologies.
Why We Use Cookies
- Enable core Platform functionality, including subscriber authentication, session management, and security;
- Remember your preferences and settings;
- Understand how subscribers and visitors use the Platform;
- Monitor Platform performance, identify errors, and diagnose technical issues;
- Analyze usage patterns and measure the effectiveness of features;
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including maintaining records of cookie consent.
Types of Cookies We Use
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Platform to function and cannot be switched off. They are typically set in response to actions you take (logging in, adjusting settings, submitting forms). Without these cookies, requested services cannot be provided.
Examples:
- Authenticate your account login and maintain your session;
- Prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks;
- Remember your cookie consent preferences;
- Load-balance traffic across our servers.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest in secure Platform operation; do not require consent.
3.2 Analytics and Performance Cookies
These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve Platform performance. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and, where possible, anonymized or pseudonymized.
We currently use:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC): Collects information about pages visited, time spent, and links clicked. Transmitted to Google’s servers. You may opt out at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on, or by adjusting your cookie preferences. More info: Google partner-sites policy.
- PostHog (PostHog, Inc.): A product analytics platform we use to understand how subscribers interact with our Platform. PostHog processes data in accordance with its privacy policy.
Legal basis: Where required by law (Canada, California), these cookies are placed only with your prior consent via our cookie banner or opt-out mechanisms.
3.3 Functional Cookies
These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization.
Examples:
- Remember your dashboard layout preferences;
- Remember your selected language or regional settings;
- Pre-fill forms with information you have previously provided;
- Remember whether you have dismissed certain notifications.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest in a consistent user experience, or consent where required.
3.4 Targeting and Advertising Cookies
StyleDesk AI does not currently deploy targeting or advertising cookies on the Platform for serving interest-based or behavioral advertising. We do not share personal information collected through cookies with advertising networks for targeted advertising.
To the extent our use of analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) constitutes “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents may opt out. See Section 5 and our Do Not Sell or Share page.
Cookie Retention Periods
Cookies remain on your device for different lengths of time:
- Session Cookies: Deleted automatically when you close your browser. Used solely to enable Platform functionality during an active session.
- Persistent Cookies: Remain on your device for a set period after you close your browser, or until you delete them manually. Typical durations:
- Google Analytics cookies: up to thirteen (13) months;
- PostHog analytics cookies: up to twelve (12) months;
- Cookie consent preference cookies: up to twelve (12) months.
We will not retain cookie data for longer than is necessary.
Your Cookie Choices and Opt-Out Options
5.1 Cookie Consent Banner
When you first visit the Platform, we display a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You may change your preferences at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.
5.2 Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may make some portions of the Platform inaccessible.
5.3 Google Analytics Opt-Out
Install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on to opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites.
5.4 Global Privacy Control (GPC)
StyleDesk AI honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out request for the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA for California residents. If your browser transmits a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out, to the extent technically feasible.
5.5 Do Not Track (DNT)
The StyleDesk AI website does not currently respond to DNT signals, as there is no uniform standard for interpretation. California residents may use GPC as an alternative.
5.6 Mobile Device Settings
If you access the Platform on a mobile device, you may be able to limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier through your device’s settings.
Third-Party Cookies and Links
The Platform may include links to third-party websites, integrations, or services that use their own cookies. This Cookie Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the cookie and privacy policies of any third-party service before interacting with it.
Canadian Users
Under Canada’s federal and provincial privacy laws, including PIPEDA and Quebec’s Law 25, we are required to be transparent about the cookies we use and to obtain your consent for non-essential cookies where required. Quebec’s Law 25 imposes enhanced consent requirements for cookies used with Quebec residents. Where Law 25 applies, we obtain your prior express consent before placing non-essential cookies.
You may withdraw cookie consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing based on consent.
California Users
California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information collected through cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise this right, visit our Do Not Sell or Share page, enable GPC in your browser, or email hello@styledesk.ai with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share — California Opt-Out.”
Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and, where required by applicable law, notify you through our cookie consent banner. Your continued use of the Platform following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Cookie Policy.
